As a young individual, some of the attacks that are mentioned in this book occurred during my teen years. I personally wasn't within the IT field nor very much interested. To brush up on my knowledge and have a more in-depth knowledge of what occurred, I purchased this book.

After reading this book gave me a much better understanding of what happened during the events, how it was discovered, how the attacks work and the consequences after. This book was structured in a way that entry-level people could understand what happened and how it happened.
Personally, I also enjoyed the "lessons learnt from the attack" section as it's very useful for beginners to know what to look out for but also reminders for everyone else within IT no matter your level of knowledge/experience. Everyone can make a mistake, even a CEO of a company. No matter what your position is within the company, you can always make a mistake which can then cause something bigger. Therefore, these reminders and insight into how these attacks occurred and can help prevent future attacks.
Also, as someone living in the UK, the way the attacks in the USA were described were quite good. The USA legal system can sometimes get very confusing but the author did a really good job of making it simple and easy to understand no matter where you're from.
Overall I believe this is a very good book to read to understand past events and get an insight into attacks. It puts across how dangerous cyber attacks can be and how companies should start taking them more seriously. For many years IT departments were always told to "fix it" and just left to it. This book displays how much goes into these attacks and how it's not all on the IT departments head but it involves everyone in companies being considerate of their actions.
I personally give this book 9/10
